Our staff are trained to inspire confidence and curiosity in every learner. Whether your child is bold and outgoing or quietly observant, our team knows how to meet them where they are. KELLY FARRELL

Principal & Director 

Kelly founded Oak Learners in 2017, with a mission to inspire creativity, foster technique, and encourage confidence. Her aim was to nurture growth by developing individuality and confidence.

JENN ST. DENIS

Admissions Coordinator

With 30+ years supporting children, Jenn has been the welcoming voice guiding families into our community since 2020. She believes every learner has a unique path and is dedicated to helping you find the right environment where your child can shine.

DANIELLA FARRELL

Admin 

Daniella is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every child feels understood.

BRANDA DALE

Marketing Director & Director of Operations 

Branda is a natural creative who brings ideas to life through compelling visuals and storytelling, then builds the systems that make it all work. She blends artistry with organization to make every initiative shine.

AARON DE MELO

Extra-Curricular Programming Coordinator 

Aaron has nearly 10 years teaching experience specializing in supporting students with ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning exceptionalities. He's trained in the Science of Reading, JUMP Math, and Orton-Gillingham. A professional singer and Royal Conservatory graduate, Aaron joined Oak Learners in September 2023.

CASSANDRA SUNDERDAS

Tutor and Learning Coach

With a Psychology degree and 15+ years working with children, Cassandra understands how each student learns. Her strong foundation in Math and Science, combined with her patient teaching style, helps students build motivation, resilience, and genuine confidence in their abilities.

KAREN STERN 

OCT Certified Teacher 

Karen is an OCT certified teacher and Expressive Art therapist with 20 years supporting students with learning disabilities and social/emotional challenges. Her student-led, creative classroom is informed by play, collaboration, and inquiry.

MERIAM REKKAS

OCT Certified Teacher 

Meriam brings artistic creativity to every lesson with a hands-on, student-led approach. Her hope is to inspire children to embrace their creativity and individuality as they learn and grow.

DANIELA URBINA

Resource Coordinator 

Daniela joined Oak Learners in 2022, bringing expertise as a Psychologist with studies in child neurodevelopment and inclusive education. She believes learning should be fun and dynamic and is passionate about helping students apply knowledge to their lives.

JESSICA MACDONALD

M.Ed., BASE Camp Coordinator 

Jessica is dedicated to supporting children's academic, social, and emotional growth. She creates inclusive spaces where learners feel confident, curious, and motivated to explore their potential.

LAUREN ST. DENIS

B.A.S.E. Camp Facilitator

Lauren's passion for creativity shines in everything she does. With a background in ballet and a talent for visual art, she brings artistic expression into every session.

ISABEL FAVA

B.A.S.E. Camp Facilitator 

Isabel is a social work graduate (minoring in disability studies) from Toronto Metropolitan University. Through working with children and adults, she's discovered the power of co-learning and love in practice. She's excited to bring that energy to BASE Camp!

ROWYN FAYE

B.A.S.E. Facilitator 

Rowyn has been part of Oak Learners since 2015, working behind the scenes as a website designer and IT support. In 2022, she joined BASE Camp to share her love of Art and Nature with students. In her spare time, you'll find her walking by the lake, photographing nature, or writing poetry.

We're so grateful for this incredible team. Each member brings their unique gifts, passions, and expertise to what we believe: it takes a village to raise a child. We work closely with families to develop programming that is innovative, inclusive, and rooted in exploration through the arts, education, and mindfulness practices.

PA Day Camps turn school days off into themed STEAM explorations with plenty of outdoor time.

March Break Camp blends yoga, art, drama, music, and afternoon nature trips into one vibrant week.

Holiday camps over winter break keep the creative energy flowing with hands-on activities and outdoor exploration.
