June 5th PA Day at Oak Learners,
Something for Every Age! |

On June 5th, Oak Learners has a full day of programming for children of all ages. Younger campers are invited to join our PA Day Camp: Summer in the City, where they'll spend the day exploring the parks, creeks, and neighbourhoods of South Etobicoke through walking excursions, map reading, scavenger hunts, and outdoor discovery. Cost: $90 (9 AM–4 PM).
For older children who may not be interested in a camp-style day, we're offering two exciting certification courses in partnership with Mindful In Bloom.

The Stay Safe Course (ages 9–13, $75) is a 6-hour Red Cross-certified program that teaches kids how to make smart decisions, handle unexpected situations, and apply basic first aid when on their own at home or in the community.

The Red Cross Babysitting Course (ages 11–15, $90) is a 7–8 hour in-person program that covers caregiving skills, child development, leadership, and first aid, giving teens the confidence and credentials to start earning as babysitters.
Both courses run 9AM–3PM and can be extended with an optional online First Aid for Dogs and Cats add-on.

The Red Cross First Aid CPR C
Run by Mindful in Bloom
Dates: June 24th
Time: 9AM – 5PM
Cost: $130
This comprehensive two-day course offers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training. This course is for those who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home or as a work requirement. It includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
