🚀 This Week's Recap

What an out-of-this-world week we've had at Oak Learners! Our campers blasted off into the cosmos and came back with stardust in their eyes. Here's what our young astronauts discovered:

🚀 Rocket Lab & Launch Pad Adventures: Campers designed, built, and launched their very own rockets, watching them soar high into the sky. There were cheers, celebration, and plenty of "Can we launch again?" requests!

🌌 Sidewalk Solar System: Our outdoor space came alive as campers turned the pavement into a giant chalk galaxy, complete with planets, stars, and their own creative cosmic touches.

⭐ Space Rock Hunt: Armed with curiosity and keen eyes, campers explored and discovered "space rocks" around the grounds and beach, each one carefully catalogued in their Space Logs.

📓 Space Log Creativity: Throughout the week, campers illustrated their "flight paths," sketched moon phases, and designed alien landscapes in their very own mission journals.

🧭 Cosmic Exploration & Discovery: Whether spotting constellations or imagining life on distant planets, campers connected with the wonder of the universe in hands-on, playful ways.

Next week is going to be wild (literally!),here's what to expect! 👀

WEEK 5: Wildlife Explorers - Aug 4-7 (4-day week)

Put on your hiking boots and grab your binoculars! This week, campers become nature detectives as they track local wildlife and uncover the secrets of our backyard neighbours. From identifying animal tracks and building natural nests to designing their own imaginary species, it's a week of "field research," muddy shoes, and "Did you see that?!" moments for every animal lover.

Typical Activities Include:

• Track & Trace: Learn to read "animal clues" like footprints and nests to see who has been visiting our parks.
• The Nest Challenge: Use twigs, mud, and grass to build sturdy bird nests, just like the pros!
• Evolution Lab: Design a brand-new animal species, complete with unique survival features and a custom habitat.
• Nature Studio: Create beautiful wildlife art using nature prints and leaf collages.
