This Week at Oak Learners π
How are people around the world the same, and how are we different?
This week our learners are embarking on a wonderful journey as we explore one of life's most important questions: What do we all share, and what makes each of us unique?
Together we are uncovering the things that connect every person on the planet. We all have feelings. We all have the right to learn and go to school. These are the threads that bind us as human beings, regardless of where we come from.
The world is also full of wonderful differences: the languages we speak, the foods we eat, the clothes we wear, and the traditions we celebrate. This week, we learn that differences are not just intriguing; they are worth celebrating, respecting, and being curious about.
Through stories, conversations, and hands-on explorations, our learners are beginning to understand that a world full of different people is richer, more colourful, and more exciting for all of us. πβ¨
We love watching our Oak Learners grow not just as students but as thoughtful, open-hearted citizens of the world.
Ask your child today: what's one way we are all the same, and one thing that makes their culture special? You might be surprised by what they share!
