Oak Learners offers personalized tutoring and music lessons tailored to your child's unique needs and interests.

Our private tutoring goes beyond traditional academics. We blend mentoring, mindfulness, and academic support, pairing your child with experienced, passionate teachers. Many of our tutors specialize in learning disabilities and exceptionalities. From the start, we assess, plan, and report regularly, with ongoing feedback to you and reflection sessions with your student. Progress is tracked each session and reviewed regularly, so we're constantly pushing your child forward along their own learning continuum.

Looking for something creative? Our personalised music lessons offer 1:1 instruction in Piano, Guitar, Voice, Ukulele, Drums, Percussion, and Composition. Each student works with a professional instructor who genuinely loves inspiring a passion for music. We blend music theory with pieces your child will love to practice, creating space for them to thrive.

About the GEM Awards

The GEMs celebrate the small businesses and service organizations that make Etobicoke-Lakeshore truly special. Each year, community members nominate their favourites, the neighbours who go above and beyond, the local businesses that show up for us, the organizations making a real difference. It's a chance to #SupportLocal and recognize the people and places that matter most.

Nominations are open until July 31st, 2026. Winners are selected by our BIA Chairs, and the award ceremony takes place later this year. Winners also get featured across social media and in a community mailout to every home and business.
