Our program follows a skill-based curriculum through a cross-curricular and arts-based approach with a unique focus on outdoor education. Spending time in our community and in nature gives students meaningful opportunities to connect with their environment and their peers.

A Typical Day in Kindergarten

Each day at Oak Learners is thoughtfully structured to balance skill development with creative exploration:

• Core Skill Development — focused blocks of Literacy and Mathematics, delivered through play and hands-on provocations inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy

• Outdoor Education — daily time spent learning in nature, developing skills in ecology, stewardship, gross motor development, and community connection

• STEAM — integrated science, technology, engineering, arts, and math experiences that engage children's senses and spark a love of discovery
